Wrist Tattoos - Small Tattoos Hidden in Plain Sight

In today’s age, tattoos are very popular, and it seems as of most people now have at least one small tattoo somewhere, hidden away waiting to be discovered. Of course, tattoos have become so widely accepted, that you’ll also often see them on exposed areas of the body, such as the wrist. Tattoos on the wrist can still be hidden away by a piece of jewelry such as a watch, or a bangle bracelet.
There are a few things to think about when deciding to pursue a wrist tattoo.
Due to the fact that there’s less skin - as in thinner skin - on your wrist, there’s usually a little bit more pain involved. Of course the upside is that a wrist tattoo is usually finished very quickly, so the pain will not last very long at all.
A wrist tattoo will also take slightly longer to heal than other tattoos, as the wrist has more exposure than other body parts. It may take longer than the usual two weeks for it to completely heal.
Because of the additional exposure, a wrist tattoo will often require some touch up, as the ink will fade during normal daily exposure. Tattoos that are hidden away will stay the same for years, while an exposed tattoo will start fading sooner.
A wrist tattoo can be hidden away with long sleeves when you need it to be. During summertime you can wear a brightly colored bangle, or a man can wear a wide leather bracelet or a wide watch - no one will know what’s hidden beneath!
Since this will probably be a small tattoo, the cost will be lower! As a general rule, the larger and more colors that your tattoo has in it the higher the price will be. A small wrist tattoo won’t have many, if any colors in it, unless that’s your preference. Most have only one or two colors max.
Wrist tattoos are a great way to express yourself. Choosing which part of your body to tattoo is as special as what tattoo design to choose. If you want to make a statement without spending a lot of money, then a wrist tattoo is a good option.
