Tattoo as a form of expression and individuality is no longer exclusively for men. Women of today also wear tattoos as a form of fashion or a representation of who they really are. Although getting a tattoo will cause bearable pain to a person, women endure this pain order to achieve self fulfillment.

Tattoos have so many interpretation and meaning. It may be a picture of a long departed family member, a departed pet, an achievement, or even a chapter on one’s life that they don’t want to forget. For others, tattoos do not have to carry a story; they just have to look good and trendy.

Women today are getting a tattoo as a fashion statement. Scary tattoos and gang tattoos are things of the past. Women today get a tattoo as a body art that represents their personality. For some women, a cute and feminine tattoo design is sufficient to satisfy their fashion tattoo urges.

The most important thing to consider in getting a tattoo is that it is your own personal choice. When consulting other persons, take only their opinion if you think it is worthy of considering, otherwise, just get the tattoo.

Many celebrities and the rich and famous in the spotlight types are now seen flashing exotic tattoos on various body parts. Not only are the female celebrities showing off tattoos, but also the men are seen with tattoos, as they have become totally acceptable in today’s society.

Tattoos designed for woman are usually, but not always small tattoos and and much more feminine and delicate than the tattoos that men have. Women often prefer tattoos crafted from Celtic designs, stunning butterflies or colorful exotic blooms. There are many places in the body where a person may put his tattoos. It may be the back, wrist, hips, shoulder blades and neck. The position of the tattoo is essential if you are afraid that anyone may see it. Some people get a tattoo out of curiosity, and just do it without even consulting someone. Others are prohibited from having a tattoo because of family restrictions or school prohibition. If this is the case, you should place you tattoo on the part of your body that can’t be seen. Have you noticed that not many people have cool tattoo designs on their hands or feet? Even when someone has tattoo designs all over their legs and arms, the tattoos seem to stop short of their hands and feet.

It seems that both foot and hand tattoos aren’t requested very often and and therefore they’re not done as much as other tattoos. New tattoos should be kept free of any irritants, as well as clean and dry during the healing process which takes on average from two to three weeks. Read more »
